What exactly is it ?

I tend to discharge light clearish blood between periods. Although there is no pain it is heavy causing me to constantly wear pads the whole month. It also has no odor. I get severe menstural cramps which I am thinking that it can be endometriosis.
Answer:
The best advice I can really give you is please go see your gyno or at least your Doctor. I don,t want to scare you but there is to much cancer in our society today. It seems like your looking for help so you need the correct help only a Doctor should give. it can be the simplest thing such as endometriosis. But please make sure. The Doctor can give you help for this. Nothing subsitutes for a pap smear and examination.
are you taking birth control if so this may have somthing to do with it you should talk to the doc
I would definately go see your gyn. Occassional discharge isn't abnormal, but with the fact that yours is clearish blood and causes you to wear pads all of the time it could be something serious. Make an appointment with your GYN just to get it checked out. Good Luck!
My advise is to visit your doctor as soon as possible to find out why this is happening.
I have endometriosis (diagnosed by dr), and I do not experience these symptoms, although everyone is different. Sounds like you need to see a dr. You should not be bleeding constantly. The discharge and blood might be a symptom of something more serious.

What exactly is a miscarriage?

okay what exactly is one and wat do they do to the baby if u have one? idk if this sunds stupid but i was just wondering?
Answer:
Miscarriage is the natural or spontaneous end of a pregnancy at a stage where the embryo or the fetus is incapable of surviving, generally defined in humans at a gestation of prior to 20 weeks. Miscarriages are the most common complication of pregnancy. The medical term "spontaneous abortion" is used in reference to miscarriages because the medical term "abortion" refers to any terminated pregnancy, deliberately induced or spontaneous, although in common parlance it refers specifically to active termination of pregnancy.

THERE IS MORE INFORMATION AT ''Wikipedia''.
Its when your body naturally aborts a fetus.
a miscarriage is when a pregnant woman loses her baby inside her.
when you don't carry the child for full term or when the mother's body rejects the fetus.
You lose the baby before it gets to full term and is born. The baby is dead.
a miscarriage is when the woman is still pregnant and the baby dies in side of her(not exactly sure what they do with it)
it is a spontaneous abortion. We now have a different meaning for abortion.
For whatever reason the placenta detaches from the uterine wall. the body the dispells it.
Part of it is sent to the lab in an attempt to find out what happened.
The rest is thrown away in biohazard trash.
Pretty nasty huh?
A miscarriage is the end of a pregnancy when the fetus or embryo is unable to survive. The embryo a/o fetus usually passes, or can be surgically passed

What exactly do they do when they "strip your membranes?"?

Yeh.. what do they do and is it painful??
Answer:
Stripping your membranes is what they do prior to breaking your water bag, in hopes that it will bring on labor. (If your question is not in regards to being pregnant, then I have no idea!) This separates the waterbag from the cervix in hopes that the bag will break on its own, but the procedure may break it as well. Breaking the water bag will bring on more intense and regular contractions so that labor progresses faster. Good luck!
Stripping the membranes is where a health care provider will separate your bag of water from the cervix, it is not intended to break your water, however, it may. It may also cause infection, and may be painful for some.

It is supposed to stimulate production of prostiglandins in the cervix and bring on contractions. Labor will usually start soon after, like within 2 days.

What exactly are ovarian cysts?

Are they tumors ?...sounds scary.
Answer:
Ovarian cysts are fluid filled sacs on your ovaries. They are common, sometimes painful, but by no means dangerous. Some women have them removed if they grow or they are chronic. They tend to flair up around certain points in your cycle. You may notice funny looking discharge, or pain on one side vs. the other. The reason for the funny discharge is that when the cysts burst, (some contain pus or blood) your body with either absorb it, or it will drain. Don't be scared, I get them all the time. But DO keep in touch with your doctor to make sure that there isn't anything else going on :)
it's a pump on your ovary that's suppose to go away and if it doesnt then it grows and pop and you will be in terrible pain i dont know if it can kill you
there are different types of cyst, it is like a pimple that is filled with liquid or other substance, they are not tumors

What ELSE could this be? Severe cramping right side!?

I am 8 weeks pregnant with my 5th child. A few days ago I wound up in the ER with severe cramping on the lower right side. Because I've already had my appendix taken out and the pain was low and not high (like a gall bladder) everyone, including myself thought it was a tubal pregnancy but upon doing an ultrasound in the hospital, the baby was in the uterus, and not even a cyst on that ovary so no problems there. The other obvious possibility was a kidney stone but I had no blood in my urine. They sent me home with pain killers and anti-nausea medication (for the morning sickness) and after a couple of days of resting on my left side, the pain went away. Surely it wasn't just gas, to last two whole days. This pain was SEVERE, like my insides were going to explode, I couldn't stand or talk through it. No vomiting, no diarrhea. Any other possibilities? Hernia? Aneurysm? No bleeding either, the pregnancy is fine.
Answer:
Some kidney stones don't show up on ultrasounds, most of them do show up on x-rays {I guess you weren't ordered x-rays because of your early pregnancy}. Absence of blood in your urine isn't a sure way to discard a kidney stone diagnosis, either. If this pain was worse than labor contractions, and according to the location, duration and intensity, I'm almost sure you passed a kidney stone. I gave birth to my daughter by vaginal forceps delivery without anesthesia, and I've passed about a dozen kidney stones. I can tell you for sure, kidney stones hurt WAY MORE than giving birth, sweetheart! Hope that everything's fine with your pregnancy, and don't hesitate to return to the ER immediately if you experience this pain again.
U may want to check ur kidneys because that was how I was when I found out about having what U call a Horse Shoe(U) kidney.
I had that same problem while pregnant with my 3rd child. The doctor told me that it was just ligaments and muscles stretching to make room for the baby.
Keep in touch with your OB/Gyn and let them know (frequently) that you're having these pains.

That said, some of us just have very painful pregnancies. It's not always that wonderful glowing thing we've always heard about. Pregnancy is full of round ligament pain, things stretching, bones loosening, all sorts of weird feelings. And don't get me started on the hormones and mood swings!

I've had two babies, and that's enough for me! I got my tubes tied with this last one (he's six months old now).

What effects does Birth conrol have on girls?

What du i du about my period on holiday?

im goin 2 cuba on the 11th july and durin the 2 weeks il be on my period. most of my family dont know and i dont want them to. iv only had a few periods and iv tried tampons but i cant apply them right. and f i use a pad its sorta noticable throuh my bikini what du i du?i still wanna take part in the water and stuff.
Answer:
This may sound strange to you, but you should definitely consider a reusable menstrual cup. It is like a tampon in that it goes completely inside of you, but you won't have to pack a bunch of supplies and you won't have to change it as often. In some ways its tricky to get it in and remove it. (And it is *very* important to keep it clean.) But it sits lower in the body than a tampon, so once you figure it out, it is easier and more comfortable.

Good luck, and have fun in Cuba.
ask your doctor how to apply one they will understand Ask a female doctor anyway
Start pills at least one week b4 to postpone the period.
It is very difficult if you can't get along with tampons.

This link about inserting tampons might be of help.
http://www.geocities.com/4birthing/inser...

Try the smaller mini tampons you might find them easier.
get pills from your doc or ask your doc how to insert one
get used to it! your period will always seem to come at the wrong times!! awww gotttta love womanhood :)
Tampons or no swimming, sorry. Ask a female adult for help.

Don't use a pad, it'll just soak up the water and leave the blood running down your leg when you get out of the water.

Menstruating is totally normal for a woman to have, so don't be worried about if they know or not.

What dress size do you think a fourteen year old girl should be?

My niece is 14 and 175cm tall. Her chest size is a minimum of 38D and she is still growing. But sometimes i think she may be too large. What size should she be?

Thanks.

The first answer thats contains a link to a chart showing what size girls should be at their height/weight/age/chest size, is 90% likely to get best answer.
Answer:
http://www.healthchecksystems.com/height...

**but keep in mind, a teen's body is mostly genetic (or a series of bad choices). If her boobs are 38D, then that's genes! Her boobs will likely get bigger before they get smaller and if you're a good aunt, you won't make her feel bad for things that she cannot control.

She needs to eat healthy and exercise for 30 minutes a day and that's all she can do, the rest is already pre-set in her genetic makeup.
She should be whatever size she is. I don't think metric, but mathematically I think 175cm is around 5'5"..correct? She's fairly big busted, so she will need at least a size 10 if not 12. How much does she weigh?

http://www.i18nguy.com/clothing.html... size chart!
There is really no average size!

Though, age 14 and a D cup is a bit big. Does she have back pain due to those big breasts? (BTW, D is big for ANY age).

If SHE is happy with her size, then that is all you need to worry about.

Edit: You want to know if she is overweight, but I do not see you posting her weight. So we don't know.
This is not a question that can be easily answered. It depends on many things. First of all, she seems to be a normal height for a girl of her age, although her breasts are larger than most. For someone her height, age, and breast size, I would say anywhere from 100-150 would be an average weight. This all depends on muscle, genetics, and race/religion (some groups eat specific foods). If she is somewhere around 110-120 I would say she is average weight. 100 is a little low and 150 is a little high, so I hope this helps!
Sorry don't have a link to a chart. But judging by the clothes for that age group in the shops it would be in the 8 to 10 size. But obviously everyone is different and as she has a large chest then her body size with be in relation with that. I think unless she is obviously overweight then she is what she is regardless of a chart.
You question is not going to be answered to your satisfaction, because genetics, race and other factors contribute to differences in every person. Please go to this site for more answers on teen height and weight.:http://www.teenhealthfx.com/answers/spor...
Like previous posts, there is no average...
http://www.cdc.gov/nchs/data/nhanes/grow...

Try this. It does sound like your niece is a big girl. I don't know how tall 175 cm is. We work in feet and inches here, but the bra size is incredible for a 14 year old. You can't prevent her from growing vertically, but there might be a concern about her weight which can be helped. Weight Watchers has a program for children, very healthy! Good luck.
Try this link, I am not saying that your niece is overweight, its just that this is the most informative site I have come across. I hope it helps :-) http://www.overcome-obesity-today.com/ch...
The size that fits.

At a 38D, you should be in the women's section, not the girls.
I had a similar problem a few years ago, girls are getting bustier than the previous generation and a D is average size, it could just be that she hit puberty young and has already developed. I was an E at 14 while not overweight, plus dress size is probably not the best measurement, it would be her BMI as some people can be a size 12 in trousers but an 18 in dressed due to their bust.
I can do a little better than a chart. Here is a calculator to help you determine a healthy age/weight/height for children from ages 2 through 20. It is located here:

http://www.kidshealth.org/teen/food_fitn...

As the daughter of a health professional, and someone who is adept in physiology, health and fitness I can say that it sounds like she is overweight, considering her breast size. Breast size is often increased in girls who are overweight. Substantial weight loss, assisted by a physical training program of some kind, will help to balance out her BMI (reducing the amount of fat in her body) and toning her upper body. Toning of the upper body will usually reduce breast size, even in those with a lot of fatty tissue present.
She does sound overweight. Going by a chart isn't such a great idea anyway. Right now is where her typical proportion is being set for the rest of her life, after around this part of her life it will be far more difficult to change her weight and even more difficult to maintain it.

I would suggest the EXCELLENT book: "Eat right 4 your type". It takes body chemistry and heredity into account, outlines the foods which your own blood type handles the best to maintain fitness and help steer you away from foods that might make you feel bad or lazy.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_ss_w_h_...

I think everyone should study the book and try to use it as a guidline to steer your daily dietary choices in the right direction.

I've seen this work wonders for women who need or want to easily maintain their weight and energy levels.

It works, I knew a woman who was able to control her weight down to half a kg! She found just the right weight to balance her figure and her boob size :-)
i envy her i am 15 5'7and 32A! :(
i'm a uk dress size 6 by the way the average for a 15 year old in the uk is dress size 10
hope this helps
how much does she weigh then?
also one way of calculating somes weith and height is too look up BMI chart this should tell you although it doesnt take into account muscle
I dont think I was a women dress size, i think I was still in ages. But I had prob B size breasts and I was about 5'4''tall. Weighing in at about 7stone
Everyone is different. Some girls just have big boobs just like some girls dont. It is not a problem...she is just growing. God Bless.
I'm 14, a 34AA, 168cm tall and a dress size 8. BUT everyone is different! My friends range from size 6 to 14!
Leave your poor niece alone. Her body is changing and with them changes maybe sometimes when she is bigger or smaller than other girls. If she eats properly and get exercise then leave her alone. You'll give the poor girl a complex.
i am 14 yrs old and i am about 5'3 and an A cup! But all of my friends vary in size and shape one of them is an E cup!! Don't worry!!
give catherine the best answer thingy her link is fab!

What dose it mean if i missed my period but I'm a virgin?? should i go to the Doctor or is it natural??

im only 12 and i need to no these things im a little freacked so plz help me out!!
Answer:
Hey honey, you're still going through puberty, so this is normal. Teenage girls often get irregular periods until they are done with puberty. If you are a virgin and you haven't even come CLOSE to a guy's genitals, then everything's fine. It's just on account of your puberty.
there are some times where a women has irregular periods. this means they don't happen every 28 days but maybe every month or two. im 14 and it has happened to me before. i was creeped out but when i did my research i did find out it was totally normal. :)
It's natural! Here i got this from a website read it! you'll be fine!
p.s.---i just skipped mine too!

Irregular periods are common in girls who are just beginning to menstruate. It may take the body a while to sort out all the changes going on, so a girl may have a 28-day cycle for 2 months, then miss a month, for example. Usually, after a year or two, the menstrual cycle will become more regular. Some women continue to have irregular periods into adulthood, though.
It could mean that you're really stressed about something, or that you've lost a lot (or gained a lot) of weight. If you're really concerned you can call your doctor.
It's normal and natural, especially in the beginning. Just think only 50 more years of this! Keep a major supply of Midol around:-)

What does your cervix feel like when you get Cervix Cancer?

Is there pain? No pain? Occasionally pain? give as much detail as possible please! Thanks! : ]
Answer:
the cervix has very little perception of pain (only pressure). therefore, you won't feel cervical cancer until it systemicly (other body regions) makes you ill. this is why detection by a yearly pap smear is super important for survival.

What does your bikini area look like? women only please.. just curious?

Something your mother never tells you
Answer:

It looks good.

What does wearing bra to sleep at night does to the boops? i mean does it have any effect? is it good/ bad.?

Answer:
Good Day,

It is very important that you allow at least 14 hours with out the use of a bra. This will allow your lymphnodes to drain properly. As well it has been proved that under-wire bra users have a higher risk of breast cancer. It pushes your breast in a very unnatural way.

So if you feel a need to sleep with one make sure it is a sleeping bra no wires. They make a bra called Leading Lady Sleep-Leisure Bra just for those who like to sleep with one on.

If you do become pregnant some women need that support during breast feeding and need the nursing pads so they do not leak at night. As well if you are large on top it does help you seep with more comfort.

But try to make sure you let your girls be free once in a while and most women do this at night.

It is a myth in the world of women that wearing a bra will prevent you from sagging this is not true. Bras do not cause the breasts to sag, nor do they prevent it. Bras obviously help the sagging while you wear them, but there is no long-term effect.

As all women get older the gravity pulls the breasts down, those ligaments and the skin can stretch, and so the breast then droops. This depends on the elasticity of your skin and of your ligaments, as determined by your genes and diet, and also on normal aging processes. Obviously large breasts will sag easier since the gravity is pulling them down more.Sagging or drooping of breasts is a natural, inevitable process that happens to all women at some point - except those with fairly small breasts.

Hope this helps you
No effect.
keeps them up.
Well, it can be good or bad, first off it'll attract men, but some might not be nice. But, that's all i can think of, but then again i'm one of those guys i mentioned.
It's not necessary to wear a bra at night. It will not help your boobs any. They will still sag when you're 80.
i think its good i do it and ive heard women that have been accused of having fake boobs that they are firm because they sleep with thyre bra on but i dont know
I know from personal experience that it does keep your boobs firmer. My husband doesn't like that I sleep with a bra on, but he does like that my boobs are so firm and young.
Keeps them in place and slows down the sagging
Uhhh.I wouldn't were a bra at night just because I need to let my breasts BREATH if that even makes sense.but it has no effect at all really.
its supposedly not very good for your boobs, because they supposedly grow while your sleeping (@ night your body repairs itself) so by wearing a bra you could be "constricting, stunting" there growth.

so its no necesarily bad for you just your boobs will be smaller :]

hope that helps :]
if its too tight you might be a little sore in the morning, but i dont think they have any medical proof that one is better than the other.

i sleep with mine on. always have cause a shirt is too hot, but i dont like being topless (just in case of an emergancy)
Women wear bras that are wire and "lift" free and made of cotton or other stretchy material to sleep in. If the normal bra's cup size is above an "A", this is know to help keep some firmness and stretch marks a little longer than a daytime bra alone. Personal comfort is what you look for most.
it is actually reccomended that you wear a sports bra to bed at night, it helps support your breasts and is kind of "preventative maintenance" to stop your breasts from sagging as you get older.
Bras help when vertical. They are yet another unnecessary burden on women. When horizontal, they serve no purpose, so why you would want to continue restricting your body day and night, your just masochistic.
i guess it keeps them up
i don't know how reliable of a source this is but i heard on the tyra banks show that wearing a bra at night does actually help keep your breasts from sagging as you get older. on here you'll probably get answers ranging from wearing a bra at night will give you cancer to you have to wear a bra if you don't want your boobs down to your belly button when you're older...so if you really wanna know i'd ask your gyno.

What Does Viagnal Discarge Look Like?

Answer:
Normal discharge is a clear or slightly milky, thick substance (usually odorless). If it differs from that, it could be a sign of infection.
Discharge can look any number of different ways depending on what's causing it. For example, a yeast infection will get you lumpy white discharge that might remind you of cottage cheese. BV will get you milky white discharge that smells like fish. It all just depends.
Discharge is supposed to be clear and gooey and it isn't supposed to have a smell. If it smells bad there is something wrong and you should contact a doctor.

What does this sound like to you?

Okay my last period was on may 5th. Since around mid may I have noticed all sorts of things: 1.a stage fright type of feeling has taken over my lower stomach and abdomen, 2. I am tired ALL THE TIME, the first thing i do when i get home is get in bed lol, 3. my nose is stuffy constantly ( no matter how many times a day i blow it), 4. for the past week or so ive been having this headache that i cant get rid of, 5. my moods have gotten out of control and i pretty much cry everyday ( even when i dont know why im crying) lol, 6. my eating habits have changed, im either starving or completly not interested in food.. 7. my hands are tingly all the time, around june 20th i had a light tinge when i wore a panty liner it would only be a drop on it at end of day, then after 2 days of this i started light bleeding (only using one pad a day) for 2 days, with slight cramping, nothing like my period though, there extremly heavy( a pad every hour or 2) with very bad cramps.
Answer:
http://www.cancerschmancer.org/...
Please, just go to the doctor.
Sounds like a combo of things. Those being: anxiety, pregnancy, stress. Have you been stressing over something or nervous about something? Sometimes when you're stressed or you're not eating properly, your period will not come. The first thing you should do is take a home pregnancy test and also make an appointment with your doctor.

Hope this helps.
Firstly are you sleeping with someone? You could be pregnant but then again you should not be bleeding, not even a drop. Secondly are you working, going to school or is there something that puts you under a lot of stress? I once was late with my period but it was due to the fact that I was under a lot of stress and the moment I had my period I was suffering a lot with cramps. I would suggest that you go to your GP for a checkup.
eeewooouch, you poor old thing. could it be toxic shock from sanitary wear? That is only a wild guess so best go to your doctor.
Take your list to the nurse at the surgery and let her read it, telling her 'It is all to much to say, but it is a good description'.
Go one get some NHS sympathy and care.

What does this mean? (ladies only please)?

My period is not due until next week but yesterday and today I have been having very very very light vaginal bleeding. It's so light that I don't need a pad or anything. I just had a physical last month and was checked for various venerial diseases and all came back negative. So what can this be?
Answer:
sounds like you might be pregnant. Or maybe late ovulation..take a HPT.
It could be your cycle starting early, which is normal. It could be a infection. It can be from irritation. If your not in discomfort dont worry about it. If it continues, see a doctor.
Maybe its from the exam? Maybe your period is coming earlier?

What does this mean?

I'm about 28 weeks pregnant and so far everything has been alright in the pregnancy. I just got over a uti and i have a yeast infection. I've also noticed some leaking on my underwear but i guess it could just be urine, but im not sure. Well today I got woken up from my sleep with a really strong pain in the left side of my pelvic area and it only lasted about 30 seconds. I went back to sleep and about 4 hours and a half hours later I got woken up again with the same pain in the same exact spot and it lasted maybe a tiny bit longer but then it went away. Are these real or fake contractions? what does this mean?
Answer:
Welcome to pregnancy!
I would go the doctors a.s.a.p you can't be to careful when your pregnant!
I'm not here to scare you but when your water breaks its slow leaking and not a gush. You really need to go see the doctor and ask him. There is no way to answer this question on line and hope you don't take any of the answers seriously unless they say to see a doctor.Don't waste time cause this could be serious and you could or can have a premature birth.Go see someone OK.

What does this mean?

What does this mean?

on a girl wat is wiping the wrong way?
Answer:
A girl should wipe herself from the front back towards her bum. As its said that women who "wipe the wrong way" bring forth microbes and other creepy stuff (bacteria, virus, etc) from there rectum up to their vaginas. We want nice clean healthy vaginas not that other stuff in there, so wipe front to back OK! *wink*
From back to front is wrong. "Back" being your behind.
Wow...
exactly what donktheclown said =]
When she wipes, a female should wipe from the front to the back. In this manner you cannot contaminate the Urethra or vaginal area with possible bacteria from the anus. The rectum is considered contaminated but the Urethra is clean as well as the vagina.
The body digests food and the product, BM contains bacteria. So, by wiping front to back contaminating the front orifices [openings] is avoided.
Hope this helps.
Back to front is wrong. The right way is front to back.
in and out
Back to front. Doing this could push bacteria from the anus into the vagina and cause a serius infection.

What does the vagina feel like?

What does the doctor do to you for a camp physical?

Answer:
It depends on how old you are. A camp physical probably will just require making sure that you have had all your shots and the normal tests (like blood pressure, check your heart sound, how your lungs sound, check your ears, eyes and nose). They might also do an external check of your organs which will entail them feeling around your abdomen. They'll check your reflexes and maybe will check out your limbs, make sure that they are developed normally and such. It won't be invasive at all. If you are 16 or older, they may do a gynelogical exam, but that's primarily because it is convenient to do at the same time as a regular physical and you are of age.

What does that mean when there is a yellowish fluid viginal discharge and there is a change in smell??

Answer:
it surely means u hav got an infection in ur urinary tract.not to be mean, but it also may be a symptom of vaginal candidiasis. hav clean personal hygiene habits n consult a gynec as soon as possible.dont delay
It means our date is OFF.
If it happens once in a while, nothing to worry. If its a regular feature, time to see your gyne
Eww! You should see a gynecologist. They would know.
i'm sorry to tell u but it sound like tell u got an yest infection
Could mean infection, especially because of the smell. The only way to know for sure is to have this evaluated by your dr to see what they think could be going on.

What does misscarriage mean?

Answer:
the expulsion of a fetus before it is viable,
failure to attain the just, right, or desired result: a miscarriage of justice.
failure of something sent, as a letter, to reach its destination.
i think its like when the baby dies before its born or sumthin like that
when youre giving birth, and the baby dies. or when the baby dies in your womb while youre preggers.
its when a pregnant girls baby dies while shes still pregant
It means that the baby dies when it's still in the womb and developing. I think that is enough to not make you sick. Hope this helps! :)
the baby does not make it past usually firt trimester
It means that a developing baby has self aborted - it's dead, and is passed out through the vagina.
When the fetus leaves the body because it could not sustain life.
When people use the term miscarriage it means that a women who was once pregnant has lost her baby. (it is no longer in the womb)
It means that a developing fetus in a woman's womb has ceased to develop because of various possible reasons. We vomit through our mouth anything that is not meant to be in our bodies. In a miscarriage, expulsion of the dead fetus occurs through the vagina..best way I could put it dude..

What does it mean?

My mom says that when I was born I had problem adjusting with my sorrounding. I was also born earlier than nine months. And my heart was a little out of the place it was supposed to be located, but as I grew it got positioned to the normal spot.
Does it mean anything? Should I be worried?
Answer:
Some babies are sensitive . That is normal. The heart thing is unusual, but if it is not where it belongs...then it should be ok
a lot of people I know had problems when they were born, I am one of them, I was born premature and spent some time in an incubator, but everything is fine with me now. If you do not feel any problems with your heart and with adjusting with your surroundings now, why should you be worryied?
You r normal and healthy, don't worry!

What does it mean?

I find myself wanting to be an anorexic. I know its a disease and you can't just get it by saying,''I AM GOING TO BE ANOREXIC''
I dont know why, but i think it would be the best thing in my entire life. I am not overweight I am 13 4'10 and 72lbs. so as you can see I am not overweight nor underweight. I think about it all the time and when i see anorexic ppl i wanna be like them. I mean I wish I were them. Why am i like this?

No rude comments!
please..
thanks
Answer:
I think you can blame it on the media. The media makes everything look glamorous, even normal. We have see girls idolize celebraties that are going to jail, using drugs and, yes, anorexia. You really don't want this disorder. Be healthy.
uhhh, you are underweight, by about 18 pounds
i understand the desire to be thin, but you are underweight as it is honey! it's healthier to be slender with muscle then to be bone thin!
my sister suffered from an eating disorder that took her 10 years to conquer. she now has health problems that stem from the malnourishment from the disorder, and she's not even 30.
Don't listen to society, listen to your body. Eat healthy, exercise, and be tone, not bone!

What does it mean when your breasts...?

aren't firm and round like normal but droop down in skinny oval shapes? They get rounder as you gain weight. Could it be because one could have low estrogen?
Answer:
Low estrogen levels can lead to inelasticity in skin so sagging could happen prematurely in breasts. But like the lady above said, we're all different and there is no right way to look...Also gaining and losing weight in a yo-yo fashion deeply affects skin's elasticity in a negative way.
It just means we're all different. And girls with perfectly firm, round breasts may or may not have implants, or at least really good push up bras
How old are you? Everyone's breasts are different, but age tends to take certain liberties with every woman's breasts. Do you do a self-exam regularly? Do you feel any lumps?
Go see a doctor and get a mammogram. Yes, estrogen does effect breast tissue, but one must factor in side-effects. The decision to take or not take must be a discussion you have with your doctor.
I'm in the same boat, I always hate seeing those women on tv with perfect breasts. :) Anyway, I have a hormonal issue that causes too much estrogen and my breast are still that way. The doctors have never said anything to me about them being unusual so I think that's just how they are.

What does it mean when women have sudden hip and rear "expansion" in their mid 30's?

Like all of a sudden one day, boom?
Answer:
I believe its got something to do with the thyroid
Some call it the old age spread. Your body is just taking on some different changes, now that your becoming older
Normally after delivery women's mid portion increases due to pregnancy and also because they loose interest in keeping a good shape.
I don't know if you've ever been pregnant, but that will expand that area. If not, you have the "middle-age" spread..also, have you taken a pregnancy test? Your body might be trying to tell you something! The spreading could be caused by your body expanding to carry a baby. Try exercise and butt-toning exercise.or, if you've gained weight, go on a sensible diet with exercise. I wish you the best of luck!
means they are getting fat and unatractive.

What does it mean when it burns when you use the bathroom?

Just when I pee
Answer:
It usually means you have either cystitus (imflamation of the bladder) or a urinary infection. Drink plenty of water and cranberry juice., which should help if the symptoms persist see a dr to get a course of anti biotics.( your dr might might want a urine specimen ask before you make an appt)
yeast infection.
Usually that means you have a Urinary Tract Infection.

You can go to the doctor for antibiotics. In the mean time, no sugar, lots of h20, and you can get cranberry capsules from the health food store.
sounds like a urinary tract infection, see a doctor
It could be a lot of things... Most infections are like that. Even my bladder infection. Just go to the doctor!
It means you have an infection of your bladder
That means that you have a urinary tract infection. Don't worry it can easily be taken care of by drinking plenty of cranberry juice or water. Easy ways to prevent it is by wiping from the front to the back after going to the bathroom, drink plenty of water, and using a douche. If you are urinating blood or your urine has a slight orange tint to it, you might want to check with your doctor it could be more serious.
sounds like cystitis or a water infection either way you need to see the doctor for antiobiotics.. it's nothing to worry about though. They'll clear it right up
Oh u got a infection. How old r u? Well u need to see a doctor cause it is going to burn until they give u specific pills!!!

I had the same thing!!

Your going to have to pee in a cup.
I know sorry for u!!!!!!!!
It isn't a yeast infection it is a bladder infection aka Urinary Tract Infection.
Sounds like you have a urinary tract infection. If you go to the doctors, s/he'll give you an antibiotic to help treat it. I know the feeling as I've had one once before.
You have a bladder infection. Go to the store for AZO pills. Those pills will ease the burning before you can get to the doctor for the real pills. Also drink water and cranberry juice.
yep, infection

dont worry, it shouldnt be a big deal

you'll have to wolf down some pills, nothing bad

just ask your doctor, you'll have to give a sample, but nothing horrible

in the mean time, lots of water, cranberry juice
Urinary Tract Infection. Go to a doctor.

What does it mean when I say these 9 words into my gf's ear she has an orgasm on command.?

Me and my girlfriend were sitting around yesterday just talking. But she always tells me that she loves me with all her heart and soul. So I start saying them to her to. NOW , I say them 9 words to her and she has an orgasm right off the bat. I wouldn't even have to touch her at all ! I just whiper into her ear and just say them 9 words and she has an orgams right there and then. It happends every single time it never fails. Just to warn you all I am not freal or something crazy guy with answers this stuff really happends. I just want answers. If you don't have answers then I would like to have your thoughts on what is going on at this time. Please be respectful to this question and myself and others that commment onto this question. Thank you .
Answer:
It is rare thing but not impossible. These types of girls are called super-orgasmic or hyper-orgasmic,in which girls can have orgasm only by the thoughts,dreams(daydream),talk... to boyfriend etc...I can say u don't worry.

What does it mean when a person has lots of fresh blood in their stool?

I have been struggling with my weight for a while and have been taking laxatives, I just recently gained 10 pounds and so i took some more laxatives and now i have a bunch of fresh blood in my stool help scared
Answer:
It may be from hemorrhoids or it may be something more serious. Please go to your doctor and be honest about what you have been taking to lose weight.
it means you should stop sh*tting to lose weight and see a doctor immediately...go on a real f*ckin diet moron...

lol low score because i was blunt and to the point and gave the same answer as everyone else just not in nice terms...funny XD
It could be from hemmoroids, but it could also be something much more serious. Go to a doctor.
It means you should see a doctor. It could just be that your laxatives irritated something, but it could be worse. Bloody stool is a huge sign and should never be ignored.
You need to contact your doctor. Small amounts can be alarming, but if you see lots of it there could be something major going on and your doctor can check the situation out and rule out causes for alarm. Stop taking the laxatives as a way to lose weight, that's just not smart. Eat a well balanced diet, exercise and, here's one that's way out there, be happy with who you are and what you look like for a change. If you want to be healthy, abuse of laxatives is not the way to do it.
You may want to go to a doctor. You might have an internal hemorrhoid. Lay off the laxatives as well, thats DEFINITELY not helping. In fact, it may be aggravating what MAY BE an internal 'rhoid. I had blood in my stool a few months back %26 low %26 behold it was an internal 'rhoid, as well as some slight irritation in my colon. Id definitely see a doctor about that. They will more than likely schedule you for a colonoscopy which is a painless procedure where they scope the lower 1/3 of your colon (Sigmoid colon I think?). Its quick (about 20min), its painless (you'll never know you had one!) %26 its the best sleep ever (when they put the sedative in your IV!). Dont WAIT!

What does it mean when a female pees blood and knows it's not her period?

Answer:
It probably means that you have a urinary bladder infection. It must be seen by a doctor and treated because the infection could travel to your kidneys.
It means you need to get to an emergency room.
it meens you need to see your obgyn or doctor
Probably a UTI (Urinary Tract Infection). You need to see your doctor soon. If you delay, it will get painful and they usually don't go away on their own.
GO TO A DOCTOR! not normal/healthy you should never pee blood and it could be any number of things!
If you're having bleeding during urination, then you clearly have a problem that needs attention. I suggest going to a doctor ASAP. If your doctor is not available, get to the ER.

Good luck!
Kidney problems...
Maybe a bladder infection or UTI? Go to the doctor before it starts hurting, BAD, because it will eventually.
go to the emergency room. you could have a severe problem with your kidneys
It means that you need to see your doctor

What does it mean to have your womb quarterised ?

Answer:
i think you mean cauterized. this would be done to stop bleeding.
it stops u leaking
Cauterised?
Isn't it "cauterised"?

Cauterisation means to burn in a medical sense. It can stop bleeding and kill infection. Often done with an electrically heated wire.

Unless you mean "Curettage" (sp?) as in "D%26C" (dilation and curettage) where they scrape the womb-lining.
Cauterization destroys abnormal tissue using heat, electricity or chemicals. It can be done in a physician's office or in a hospital on an outpatient basis. Usually, no anesthesia is necessary. Cauterization is considered very safe. However, occasionally it causes scarring that makes future Pap smears difficult to interpret.
I guess you mean cautery to the cervix. This is a procedure used to deal with cervical erosions and low grade CIN disease.

Either a freezing or a heated probe is used to 'burn' the damaged tissue. This then scars and repairs.
Yep you really do mean cauterised. An easy mistake to make. It is done to reduce or if you are very lucky stop period bleeding. A gynaecologist does this procedure in a day surgery unit at hospital. It is best to have a light anaesthetic as it is uncomfortable, this could be an epidural or general or even heavy sedation. There are 2 main ways of doing the procedure. 1, with a small metal ball which carries a small electrical charge that burns the lining of the womb which the doctor moves around using a small telescope to help him/she see. or 2, using a small 'balloon' that is inserted into the womb, filled with fluid and heated to about 75'. The are other techniques such as microwave ablation and laser ablation. Each method destroys the lining of the womb. You will never be able to conceive children once this method has been used and it does not stop everyones periods but i should reduce them in almost all cases. It is performed for heavy periods that have no other serious cause. I have had it done twice as the first time didn't work very well.

What does it mean to have a hot flash at age 14?

Well, this morning, it was weird. I went upstairs to my room to get something, and as I approached my bed I felt extremely lightheaded so I had to lie down. Then I got up once the feeling went away, and then the lightheaded-ness came back- but I also felt nauseous, started gagging like I was about to throw up, and then a LOT of heat rushed to my face. My entire head was very hot. Then I lied down AGAIN, because I knew it would make the symptoms stop. But I couldn't leave my room without getting the thing I needed, so I got up- and all the symptoms came back. Once I got downstairs the hot flashes went away, the nausea mostly went away, and the lightheaded-ness mostly did too.

So what the hell was this? Was that really a hot flash? I'm basing this inference off of what I've heard about hot flashes in the past and on the fact that my head got extremely warm so suddenly. But I wasn't expecting a hot flash for another 40 years.

Someone explain?
Answer:
I would be more inclined to wonder if you have a virus or bacterial infection.
You could have had a fever. I have hot flashes all the time and cold sweats, and I'm only 19, but that's because I am allergic to milk, and I have dranken it. If yopu start having them more often write down your symptons and evrything you have done, ate and the weather. lots of things could contribute,. After a month or two take this to a doctor and tell him what's been going on. Unless it gets too serious, then go right away!
If you are not a virgin, you could be pregnant. Hot flashes sometimes happen in early pregnancy
You probably had something partially stuck in your throat or had a narrowing of your throat which is why you gagged. It could be you ate something that your body did not like.
You COULD just be sick like have s heat stroke of somthing!

What does it mean if you have your period for 2 weeks or longer?

It started early, It's been light, not much cramps. I usually get bad cramps the first couple of days when it's heavy, but the whole time it's been light. It's getting really frustrating cause I want it to go away. Don't say go the Dr. I am, but I want to find info before I go in. I am 26. thanks!
Answer:
I say go to the doctor but it could be from stress that happens to a lot of women. Stress can make your period not come or stay for a while.
I had mine for two weeks too, but that was when i was just starting and it was irregular. They put me on birth control to regulate it.
yes i agree with both answers sometimes stress can make your periods last longer and i would say if it lasts ne more then 2 weeks or your finding every month its becoming more of a pattern then i would reccommend you visit your doc ob-gyn to make sure things are ok. good luck

What does it mean if you have stretch marks on your breast?

i just started getting strecth marks on my breast like 6 months ago and idk if that means something bad or not?
Answer:
It doesn't mean anything bad that just means they are growing...In time they will go away

hope this helped

have a great day : )
no dont worry

it means ur boobs are growing!!

mine went from an A to a C in less than a year so it happen to me to.
to reduce the look of strech marks use cocoa butter
It means your breasts have grown quickly, either through pregnancy or gaining weight. It can also sometimes happen as women get older and their breasts begin to sag. It's purely cosmetic and harmless.
it means that you have breast! It is actually rare not to have them! Any increase in fat in youor breast will cause the skin to stretch. My faded pretty well over time! An increase in bust size can be linked to weight gain or just plain puberty.
it just means that they are growing or have grown.. they will go away soon
Lol, strech marks are scar tissue.

They happen when the body grows too fast for the skin to stretch properly. The skin needs to stretch quickly to accomodate the larger body, and the stretch marks happen!

If you rub lotion like cocoa butter or Vitamin E on your body, you will have less stretch marks. Now that you have them, they will fade, but slightly visible marks will be there forever.
scratching of itchy part of skin before and during the menstration can be the cause.
it means they grew too fast and is probably fat in some cases
it is normal
You can get stretch marks any time your breasts undergo rapid changes. For example, if your breasts are larger due to being pregnant/breastfeeding, then they grew rapidly and had to adjust to the larger size in a short period of time. You can also get them from when you lose a lot of weight and your skin has been stretched for so long that once you lose the weight, you can start to see them.

They are not bad but when they are new they can be bright red and really suck for your self esteem. Good luck.
Getting rid of stretch marks is rather a difficult task. The most effective way to handle this problem is to follow a proper care routine that prevents their occurrence. Massaging on the stretch marks serves as an excellent home remedy for stretch marks removal. You can either use olive oil, flaxseed oil, vitamin E oil or cod liver oil for the purpose of massage. Check out http://useinfo-stretchmarks.blogspot.com... for more useful info.
your boobes are to bigg??

What does it mean if you get really bloated in your abdomen and you cannot go #2.?

When you do finally go, it is the size of your little finger and not that much comes out and feel like you have to go some more, but it will not come out?

I am not being gross or making this up, but this happens to me once in a while and I do not know what this means??
Answer:
Start drinking more water and taking natural fiber capsules with 8 oz. glass of water each time.

It happens!
yer preggers. no jk it sounds like you are constipated. Juss get a laxative and if that doesnt help go to the doctors and they will give you a painful enema :) good luck
you need to add some fiber to your diet. If you like prunes, eat some of those. Or just about any fruit. You can also get metamucil cookies at the store that aren't too bad tasting. This has happened to me a few times, it's very uncomfortable feeling.
Your constipated dude.go to the pharmacy and pick up some medicine...if you were a woman Id say get correctal...but there has to be something for everyone there. The gas is building up in your intestines and going to your stomach cause it can get out the other way.
Gas. You could have IBS (irritable bowel syndrome). Drink more water and start keeping track of what you eat with a journal. Then when you start to feel bloated, you can better determine the cause of your discomfort. You should definitely talk it over with your doctor.
is it usually around the time you are going to start your period? sometimes you get constipated around that time of the month. that's what it sounds like. you can get an enema at the drug store. try that.
This could be related to Irritable Bowel Syndrome. The only way to know for sure is to have this situation evaluated by your dr to see what they think is going on.
More fats and red meat in diet may cause it. Fruits, Salad, plenty of fluids and light exercise in the morning like jogging, will help.
maybe you are constipated. you may want to take some
of that pink medicine, pepto bismal. it works. or take a laxitive.
you are constipated.

drink more water and eat more foods with fiber.. like vegtables and fruits... especially oranges..
it'll help you.
your constipated and need to take a mild laxative or stool softner. eat more fiber too.
Constipation. You can get medication for it.
constipation

What does it mean if my peiriod is coming out dark brown instead of red?

okay
well i started my period 5 days ago and the first 3 days were normal
it was red blood.
well starting yesterday it was a watery brown
and this morning it was a dark brown
[and i know its not just these colors because i left it on the pad to long]
it acually is coming out BROWN!
help me pleaseeee.
Answer:
all this means is that your are coming to the end of your cylce and all it really is... is just old blood dont worry you'll be find
it could be old blood?
this is okay and normal no need to worry!
i dont think it means anything bad... you are probably just clotting alot more and its comming brown... everyone i talked to about it said it was normal
For starters You should definitely ask that question from you gynecologist, not here...it might be something serious, or it might not , better safe that sorry...
Don't freak out. It is just that the blood that is coming out now is old blood that has been in there a while. I dunno why it does it but it isn't anything to worry about. If you douche it gets things flowing again, but if you are concerned by all means call your doctor or make an appointment.
It means your blood flow is slowing and your period is ending. Its okay.
well that happens to me too some cycles, it is old blood the reason os it I don麓t know but it is normal there麓s nothing you have to worry about, good luck! ;D
Nothing to worry about! By the end of your cycle, your uterus is shedding the older blood and tissue. Think of it this way: your cycle is approximately 28 days. You ovulate (release an egg) about 14 days into that cycle. You begin your period about 14 days after ovulation if the egg is not fertilized. In between ovulation and when your period starts, your uterus becomes enriched with tissue and blood. This is what would house a baby if the egg were fertilized. But since the egg has not been fertilized, your body sheds all of this unneeded tissue and blood. The blood that first comes out is fresh - it has only been there for about two weeks. But by the end of your period, it's been there nearly three weeks. That's why it's darker in color. So no worries - your body is doing exactly what it's supposed to do!
Don't worry about it. Your body is chemically changing all the time. It is part of growing up. Your period will be constantly changing throughout your life.
girl it's normal i would worry about it.

What does it mean if my breasts are producing breast milk, but i'm not pregnant?

Within the last year my breasts have become tender and if I put pressure on them they produce milk. This is not just around my period or after I get out of the shower. I can do it any day on command. I just went to the doctor and they ordered blood work, but I haven't gotten the results. What are they looking for? What could this mean?
Answer:
possibly looking for the hormone prolactin in your blood. It is the hormone responsible for the production of breast milk during and right after pregnancy. A few months after pregnancy, the levels of prolactin start decreasing and leveling off.
You may have a hormonal imbalance. Go see your doctor asap.
false pregnancy. but, usually lactating while not pregnant is a result of a very, very intense desire to become pregnant.
i had that when i was on the depo provera shot , go off it and it will stop it

What does it feel like when the embryo penetrates the uterine wall?

Does it feel like cramps?

If you saw my previous question you know why I am asking this. for 2 days I have been feeling cramps like my preriod is coming and it has not! This never happens to me.
I am not on Birth control~ and have not been since Febuary~

Could my "cramps" be the embryo? ~ Its too early to know with a prego- test the home ones anyway... I am supossed to get my next period on July 4th!
Answer:
Assuming you're talking about implantation, at this stage (if you were pregnant) the embryo would be smaller than a grain of rice and would be incapable of causing you discomfort. But some women do feel like you're describing when they are indeed pregnant (presumably from the hormones). The only way you'll know is by waiting and testing! GL!
the embryo doesn't penetrate the uterine wall, I can't imagine where you would get such an idea. if it did you would bleed to death rather quickly.

you are likely cramping with a delayed menstrual cycle, wouldn't worry about it.

What does it feel like when a cyst bursts?

I'm really scared cause I don't know what this is. I know someone's going to say call the doctor, and I did and I got my usual response from the nurse of go to the er (she says to do that about everything though, so I need another opinion).
Last night whenever I sat down I got this really bad pain in my right pelvic side (too low for appendix). It would go away whenever I stood up, and walked around for a little bit. This morning, it's just a nagging pain like I've had before (I've had cysts, and I have endometriosis), but I'm still really scared. So I'm wondering what it feels like when a cyst bursts and could that have been the pain I felt last night?
Please help, any answers would be wonderful.
Answer:
i had one of those last summer and it hurt sooo much! i play hockey and NEVER cry but when it burst for the first few days i cried like every night. for some reason when i was out walking around, i needed to sit down. its like having your period but 10x worse. good luck with it. just start taking some pain killers now. it will help for the future
unless you have a fever, you certainly don't need to go to the ER. Yes, what you felt was likely just an ovarian cyst rupturing, that is a normal occurence, but the endometriosis can make it an ordeal for some of us. I went thru the same thing for years, finally convinced the doctor to to a total hysterectomy and that was that for me. You will be fine. Take some advil, relax for a while, you will feel much better.

What does breakthrough bleeding mean when on birth control pill?

Answer:
breakthrough bleeding is spotting at other than the expected period or time, when hormone treatment that's what b/c is, out of balance for your bodies requirements your gyno may chose to alter your pill, dose, ect.
you are only supposed to bleed at the end of your pill cycle. "breakthrough" bleeding means that you are bleeding before your pill cycle is finished and can be caused by several different reasons. one could be that the strength of hormone is not strong enough for your system. another reason could be that you missed one or two days
It means your bleeding between periods. It's not good in a way. It can mean that your body is trying to get used to the pills, the pills may be too weak or you could be pregnant. Being pregnant isn't always the case, but it's a good sign.
Your period should come at some point when you're on the placebo pills at the end of the pack. Breakthrough bleeding is getting bleeding (a little or a lot) at some other time in your cycle. Basically it means your hormones are out of whack and it happens a lot when you've first started taking the pill. It should go away after 2-3 month on the pill unless something else is wrong.

What does age have to do with it?

my sister sadi whether or not it hurts the first time depends on your age and the guys. Is that because your hole is bigger when you're older or something??
Answer:
Age doesn't have much to do with it. It will still probably hurt no matter what age you are

Maybe you can suffer pain a little better when you are older perhaps

The size of your partner has most to do with it and how gentle he is with you. That and how much lube you use
no because u might have a longer time to break your hymen. ( learned that word in health class ;)
No age has nothing to do with it. It will probably hurt depending on how stretched out you are. If you use toys and are always playing with yourself then it probably wont hurt for you, but if you haven't ever really done anything then yeah it will hurt a little.

What does a uterus and ovary cleaner do?

i saw a pill for uterus and ovary cleaning and i wasnt sure of exactly what it does
Answer:
Uterus' don't need 'cleaning.' Your best bet is to stay away from this 'pill.' God knows what kind of hemmoraging it'll cause...or the exact opposite with nothing happening at all.

Doctors can perform what's called a D and C (dilation and cutterage) which means exactly what it says. Your cervix is dilated artificially in order for the doctor to enter into the uterus and scrape and suck (the cutterage part) the contents of the uterus out. This is the standard procedure for elective abortions, and following spontaneous abortion.

In any case, unless you're having a serious uterine problem, there's no need to 'clean' out your uterus.
um i dont know einstein...maybe clean ur uterus?
Hi Sweetie,
Sounds like a gimmick to me. The only way u can have a thougho clean up, which when u become my age, we call a "Spring Cleaning" which is a D%26C. It's a day small surgery where a GYN wil go in and basically scrap the wall lining of all Bad matter that could be interfering r period, STD's, life in general, an abortion, etc.
Hope u Understand, if not reply so
All the Best,
Diana D
P.S. If u want to see one Google D%26C Surgery
Whatever it may be it definitely cannot be a safe thing, as there is no such thing in the true medical world.
i cleans your ***** by killing dirty germs and bateria ! that way your ***** smells fresh and stay fresh !

What does a swollen chest mean?

I didn't want to be too specific in the question as I don't want too many pervs looking at this and possibly answering!
I'm not sure where to ask, besides going to my doctor, and that's embarassing enough as the receptionists insist on knowing all details before making an appointment!
This probably sounds a bit dumb, but both breasts have become quite tender over the last couple of weeks and my nipple are constantly enlarged, as though they're really cold or something. Normally I'd not mind if it was just for a while, but now it's been ages and they're hurting I don't know what it is or how to make them go down.
Does anyone know why they'd do that?
The only idea I have is that pregnancy causes it, but I had a period 3 weeks ago and since then I've fooled around with my boyfriend but he didn't, erm, release anything in me. Is it possible to become pregnant even tho he pulled out just before? How long would it take for breasts to grow larger if that were the case?
Answer:
You could possibly be pregnant. Or you may have troubles with your hormones.

What does a period feel like?

i havn't got one yet so im just really wondering...will i get cramps ext. JUST ANSWER!!
Answer:
IT SUCKS!! You are so lucky that you dont have it yet. When i first had mine, i had a little bit a blood. And when you first put a pad on, you will be walking like a duck. It is SOOOOOO uncomfotable. And you will get very moody and cranky. But after a while, you will get use to it. The cramps really hurt. When you get the cramps, just lay down on your bed, elevate you legs( put pillows under them). And also take some IBProfin, motrin, or Midol. Midol is the best. Midol is the miracle medicine. It helps any kind of pain.(back pain, chest pain,CRAMPS,headaches, sore muscles, etc.)When you get it, you will wish you never did. When you get it, you will have it until you like 50 yrs old. When you are like 15 and up, you can use tampons. But when you first start, u use pads. You have to change a pad 2 times a day, depending how heavy or light you are. You get your period every month or so, maybe longer, maybe shorter. If you want to email me you can. Its on my profile. Hope i helped you. Good luck!
Its really different for everyone depending on how heavy it is. You might now even feel it! Occasionally you'll probably get cramps though. I don't think it's too bad when you start out though. When I first got it I didn't even know I had it.
to me it feels like I'm sinking or going down on an elevator really fast.it's really not pleasant..
it's different for everyone, but for me i don't get cramps, it can be pretty gross at times, and you often feel like rushin water, but don't worry, its all in God's plan. ENJOY?!
It varies with each individual. I never really have cramps, yet both of my sisters do.

A comforting book I read when I was your age was "Are You There, God? It's Me, Margaret " by Judy Blume.

Growing up can be confusing, frightening and exciting. Talking to friends or a trusted adult usually help. Good luck to you.
for me i occasionally get cramps. but i cant feel it actually like coming out of me. i really dont think its that bad but that might be because i havent had it for a long time.
you will get cramps, feel cranky and not in the mood for anything. the blood is kind of sticky, and can be thick. it's pretty dark. you may be a little blood in the stomach and may gain 1-2 lbs. but this is all water retention. so it's not real weight!
you will feel uncomfortable wearing a pad (like a hot, sticky feeling), so a tampon might be more suitable, if you can handle putting it in. most people say they don't feel tampons at all. if your period is heavy, you might want to wear a light pad and a tampon together. you can buy teen tampons for first timers.

don't worry about it. we all get it someday!
i got mine around my 14th birthday. if you haven't gotten yours, it will come soon. everyone is different.
It really isn't that bad. Some people get cramps that are "terrible" but most of my friends, and me don't. There may be some headaches, otherwise I think it's no different than usual.
My first time, I felt like nothing! lol.
I didn't feel a THING.

What does a cervical root injury mean?

My grandmother who is at least 80 yrs old if not older has asked me to take her to the doctor and she wanted to know what it ment if they said she has a cervical root injury? I told her I would look into what it ment but I haven't been able to find anything.
Answer:
Cervical can mean either your neck or your reproductive area. I am assuming since she is eighty it is a neck injury. Usually it is a form of a strain. See what the doctor says, but I wouldn't worry.

What does a breast cancer lump feel like, and does it hurt when you press on it?

Answer:
It feels like a large or small lump anywhere in the breast. If I were you I would go get a mammogram. It is a special x-ray you get to see if you have breast cancer. They can see if you have breast cancer from up to 2 years before the lump is even large enough to feel.
if you have any lumps at all ask a doctor

What Does a Birthpill Affect in your body?

Im getting a birthpill to Hopefully, help my period Staighter out since my period HASNT STOPPED. My doctor said next week when she lets me use them it may affect othe rplaces...such as?

鈾?!-- Question-to-best answer
Answer:
Birth control pills essentially "trick" your body into thinking it's pregnant. This way, you don't ovulate each month and it becomes almost impossible for you to become pregnant.

The pill is really just a hormone that you take each day, and extra hormones can help a lot to even out your menstrual cycle. Some women see clearing of acne, some gain 5 pounds, some end up with 3 day periods... it all depends on the person. Good luck, hope you get the clear skin!
There are some symptoms of taking a birth control pill but they are rare... Weight Gain is the most common, and than nausea, vaginal infections, headaches, dizziness ... but like i said they are rare and usually subside after a few cycles
Birth contol pills contain hormones, they sometimes make the menstral cycle more regular, estrogen is one of the major hormones in birth contol pills.Best Wishes

What doctor should I go to for hair loss?

I recently noticed that I have been loosing quite a bit of hair towards the front of my scalp. I tried the volume shampoo and conditioners and it helped a little but I really want to kick this problem before it gets worse. What kind of doctor is the best one to go to for hair loss. I really do not think its so serious where I need to go to an actual "hair loss" company. Lets just say there is enough hair missing that my mom pulled me aside and talked to me about it.
Answer:
start out by going to your regular family doctor and he/she can recommend a specialist. i'd suggest seeing a doctor before you try and treatments yourself since depending on the reason for your hair loss, some/all may not work or could make it worse. i always hesitate to answer questions regarding hair loss because i think i can tend to jump to assuming it's a disease called alopicia because my sister has this. but from the way you described how the hair is falling out it does sound like it could be. but definitely call your doctor! while there aren't any definite treatments for all people with alopecia, doctors have had sucess with a lot of experimental treatments and they vary from person to person with whether they work. i'm by no means an expert but my sister has had alopecia for almost 10 years so if you have any questions feel free to send me a message and i'll try to help you the best i can!
You need to see an endocrinologist.
4 hair loss? then go to a barbar ... wanna prevent hair loss? then a Doc ithink

WHAT Do YOU THINK??

do you think i have any chance of becoming a famous actress??i dont just want it to be famous...i love acting but i want to make good money in it too and the only way to really do that is to become famous!im 14,do you think i could do it??
Answer:
It does not matter what we think!

The most important question is do YOU think you can do it?!

If you are doing what you love, what makes you come fully alive, the thing you can't spend one day with out thinking about it. Then you will be fantastic, but it is good to get clear about what your goals are so you can move towards them.

Ask yourself this question
If you where what you consider the best actor you could be, What would it feel like, look like, what things would be important to you, what did you do to get there.

The more clear you are about what success actually looks like for YOU, the easier it will be for you to take the action necessary to get there!

Start now! What can you do right now, that will make you feel happy and connected to the Actress in you. Practice in the mirror, start a drama group, get into a local play, when in doubt ask yourself what your future actress self would tell you. Maybe even give her a name

The point is you are an actress at heart, so start acting like it now. Don't tell yourself that you can enjoy acting, when you are successful, and famous! Do it now!

And let me tell you, if you live and breathe acting, and delight in it at every opportunity, then you will be thrilled, and confident.

Being confident and actively living acting, is a sure fire way to be noticed.

Good luck! Don't let anyone get in your way, most importantly you!
if your good enough!!

just stick to it abd dont doubt yourself! =]
Start small. Get a good, clean agent. Start getting involved in local, community theater, work on your acting skills. Go to drama workshops. Tryout for extra parts in plays and movies-- once you get in, get ourself noticed. It will take a long time.. or it willhapen in the blink of an eye.

Good luck.
Yup. Anything's possible!
Most agents not only look at talent, but require some qualification too.
Talk to your folks to help you do a B. A. degree in performing arts after you leave high school
Every thing goes according to your fate. So try hard for what you want and see what GOD will do for you.
yup!if ull try-and-try!!
Yes you can if you really put your mind to it

What do you think?

I have been taking Cipro for a UTI and every time I take it it gives me a headache. I dont know if I should stop taking it or not. It says that is one of the side effects. What do you think?
Answer:
keep taking it and take an Ibuprofen for your headache if it is really bad then talk to your doc. it probably is a mild reaction from the meds. but don't stop taking them w/o going on something else because then you are going to need an even stronger antibiotic for a more resistant infection and then you'll also need something for a yeast infection because of the stronger meds.
I wouldn't suggest stopping it without talking to your doctor first. An untreated UTI will likely just get worse. If it's one of the side effects, you might just have to deal with it. If it's a really bad headache and won't be helped with a pain reliever, call your doctor and get his/her opinion.
I think you should call your doctor and have your med changed to something else- there are many different medications to treat UTI. You could have an adverse reaction (which is much like an allergy, only isn't life threatening) to Cipro and shouldn't be taking it. Although headache is a side effect of the med, it doesn't mean you should have to deal with it. Just call and I am positive they will switch you to something else. But make a note for future situations that if Cipro is mentioned for treament-ask for an alternative.

I work as a nurse in a clinic-we get calls about meds causing bad side effects all the time and we just call something different in for those patients who have problems with side effects.
If the headaches are enough to bare with I say keep taking the medicine because it's doing you a lot more good than damage. If it gets to the point where the headaches get unbearable talk to your doctor about switching medications.

What do you think this may be (doctors only please)?

I am a sixteen year old female, who is experiencing a mild flow of bloody secretions from my vaginal area. I am a virgin, and am negative of HIV/AIDS as well as other diseases. It has been continuing for almost a month now, and I thought that my menstrual cycle was just being irregular. It is not enough blood to cause me to panic, but I was just wondering if it might be an infection of some kind. Thank you for your thoughts.
Answer:
I am also NOT a doctor, but my daughter did this when she was about your age. It was a lack of harmones that didn't clear the uterus of all the debris from the last period. My pediatrician decided to wait to see if her body wouldn't'
take care of the problem on it's own rather than sending us to a GYN. Her body did take care of it and and she was fine.
I would suggest you give it some time.
Sorry, I'm not a doctor. Good Luck
It sounds like your hormones might be out of whack
ask your parent/s to take you to see a GYN Md to rule out any problem and to offer advice on remedies
well there a lot of things it could be you should really tell your mom whats going on and have her take you to the dr because it is hard to diagnos someone with out knowing the whole story but you could have endometreosis it causes some menstrual bleeding that would be my first guess but go to the doctor to make sure everything is fine good luck
